Gestamp, an international group dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of metal components for automobiles with more than 100 industrial plants in 24 countries and 44,000 employees, and Vicomtech, a technology centre of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network specialising in applied research in digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing & Interaction, have developed a joint agreement for the recruitment of profiles in a dual context.

We are looking for a professional to join our team in the position of "Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Developer". The person who joins this position will receive specific training at the Vicomtech technology centre for a period of 12 months and will subsequently join Gestamp to carry out the functions specified below.

Main Activities

The selected person will collaborate with the AI and Advanced Analytics team at I4.0 in order to work on data analysis and Machine Learning model development. The role will be to perform advanced analytics and explore ML models (especially image analysis models) for specific problems (such as defect detection), touching on different aspects:  

• Understanding Gestamp's analytics and MLOps methods.
• Defining and implementing analytics in Gestamp's real-time architecture.
• Use of the MLOps platform for data management of ML models.
• Synthetic generation and annotation of data.
• Implementation of ML models with MLOps platform.
• Testing and validation (with specific metrics) of ML models with MLOps platform.
