Vicomtech (www.vicomtech.org) is a private Applied Research Centre specialised in Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing and Interaction located in Donostia-San Sebastian and Bilbao and with a strong national presence in the application of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies in multiple sectors. We are members of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and GraphicsVision.ai, an international network specialised in Computer Graphics (https://graphicsvision.ai/).
We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated person in the field of real-time computer vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development, implementation and optimisation of advanced algorithms for real-time image and video processing. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to design and optimise innovative solutions that can be applied in the automotive, railway and agricultural sectors.
Duties:
- Develop and optimise real-time computer vision algorithms.
- Conducting research and experiments to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the algorithms.
- Programming of libraries and algorithm routines oriented to real-time performance with cameras.
- Publish research results in prestigious conferences and journals.
Candidates must have:
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in computer vision and image processing.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques and neural networks.
- Programming skills in C++, CMake, and we value experience with CUDA, OpenMP and threading.
- Experience in Deep Learning computer vision, using technologies such as OpenVINO and TensorRT.
- Experience in camera image capture technologies, such as gstreamer, OpenCV, DirectShow or similar.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate results effectively.
