[BIELE] Artificial Vision Technician

Biele Group, (a European reference group in industrial process automation) and Vicomtech, a technology centre of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network specialising in applied research in digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Visual Computing & Interaction, have developed a joint agreement for the recruitment of profiles in a dual context.
We are looking for a professional to join our team in the position of Machine Vision Technician. The person who joins this position will receive specific training at the Vicomtech technology centre for a period of 12 months and will subsequently join Biele Digital (a company belonging to the Biele Group, specialising in the development of solutions that optimise manufacturing processes through production management software, advanced data analysis tools and artificial vision systems) to carry out the functions specified below.
Functions
- Analysis and definition of the hardware to be used for the project.
- Programming the code for each project according to needs.
- Project monitoring.
- Start-up.
Candidates must have:
- Training in Computer Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in similar positions.
- Ability to tackle a variety of tasks in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
- Leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Knowledge:
- Python or C++.
- Knowledge in CNN, image processing, object detection and recognition, image segmentation.
- Experience in the use of computer vision libraries and frameworks is important.
- Selection of cameras, lenses and lighting and setup definition.
- Languages: Advanced English. French or German is desirable.
- Proactive person with a leadership point, willing to learn and fast execution of tasks and with quality. Ability to solve problems.
- Willingness to travel.
