Biodonostia Official Opening

Last 15 November the official Opening of Biodonostia was held, being it the first health investigation institute in Euskadi. This centre is located in the Hospital Donostia. There was an investment of EUR 10 million and 200 employees will develop top scientific activities. This ceremony was chaired by Cristina Garmendia, Minister of Science and Innovation; Patxi López, Basque President; Markel Olano, deputy for Gipuzkoa, and Odon Elorza, Mayor of Donostia.
The eHealth & Biomedical Applications department of Vicomtech-IK4 is part of Biodonostia institute and is head of its bioengineering group.
