The Kick – off meeting of Hbb4all project took place in Barcelona on 13th and 14th January

HBB4ALL project’s kick off meeting took place in Barcelona (Spain) between the 13th and 14th January 2014, putting together representatives from each of the Consortium’s partners from Denmark, Portugal, United Kingdon, France, Switzerland, Netherlands and Spain.

HBB4ALL addresses the possibilities of media accessibility in the new hybrid broadcast-broadband TV (HbbTV) environment.

One of the main challenges for the next years will be the multi-platform delivery of audio-visual content (anytime, anywhere, any device), be it broadcast or Internet service.

HbbTV provides a straight-forward specification on how to combine broadcast and broadband content with interactive applications.

The overall objective of HBB4ALL is to become a major platform/player being able to satisfy the diverse interests of all social groups.
