Workshop on Mobility assistance for visual impairment 03/04/2014

Eduardo Carrasco, researcher of the eHealth and Biomedical Applications department, will participate in the workshop titled “Mobility assistance for visual impairment” presenting the ARGUS Guidance system for blind people with 3D sound project.

Within the ARGUS project members of the same have carried out intensive tests to prove binaural sounds can help visually impaired people to clearly feel the direction and distance from which a sound comes.

During this workshop, to be held next 3^rd April at the Carlos III University in Madrid, they will discuss and present results of different R&D projects in the area of mobility for visual impaired people.
