The Kick-off meeting of the FP7 P-React project is taking place in the headquarters of Vicomtech-IK4

P-React project’s kick off meeting (1^st and 2^nd April 2014) is taking place in the headquarters of Vicomtech-IK4 in Donostia-San Sebastián, putting together representatives from each of the Consortium’s partners from Switzerland, Cyprus, Ireland, Greece, Italy and Spain.

The objective of the P-React project is to research and develop a sensor data (video and motion) capturing and archiving network/platform that allows the protection of small businesses from petty crimes. Low cost technology based solutions can reduce criminal activity which is becoming a significant threat to daily life of local communities due to recent economic crisis.
