Vicomtech-IK4, Ingema and Fatronik start their collaboration activities in the framework of an agreement on assistive technologies

In February 2005, Vicomtech-IK4, Fatronik and Ingema signed a Collaboration Agreement for the development of research on the improvement of elderly and disabled people’s quality of life . Based on this agreement, several activitiesstarted on a local, national and European level have been started. One of the most important results so far consisted in the submission of a proposal for a joint Strategic Research Project called ZAHARTEK to the Basque Government in its ETORTEK 2005 call. In the framework of this alliance, Vicomtech-IK4 will develop innovative systems on human-computer interaction, eLearning, digital TV and emotion recognition.
