PROFIT project subsidised concerning the collaboration agreement signed by Vicomtech-IK4, Fatronik and INGEMA

As an example of the successful collaboration between Vicomtech-IK4, Fatronik and INGEMA, they are working together with Bilbomática S.A. in a project financed by the PROFIT 2005 promotion program for technical investigation inside the field of support for elderly people using mobile devices. The SASTEC project aims at developing a technology-based attendance system for the promotion of the autonomy of elderly people with cognitive dysfunctions, so that they are able to carry their normal course of life. The project will contribute to keep elderly people’s autonomy and to improve their and their family’s and caregivers’ quality of life.
