13.09.2016
Jairo R. Sánchez PhD, senior researcher at the Industry and Advanced Manufacturing department, will participate as an invited speaker and will present his paper “Management and analysis of clouds of high speed 3D points for dimensional inspection in manufacturing environments”.
Researchers Ander Arbelaiz and Ramón Ugarte will participate with papers “Deployment of volume rendering interactive visualizations in web platforms with intersected 3D geometry” and “Augmented Reality technologies to assist in manufacturing processes” respectively. These papers have been developed in collaboration with other researchers of the Centre.
The Spanish Congress on Computer Graphics is actually an important group discussion point for computer graphics researchers and professionals in Spain. Apart from presenting their research results, attendees will also be able to debate on new investigation lines, ideas on how to incorporate more and better computer graphics to education, and technological developments of real apps.
These are the main interesting issues in this edition: Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Fotorealistic Visualization, Geometric Modelling, Procedural Modelling, Volume Modelling and Visualization, Computational Geometry, Digital Image Processing, Computational Photography, Computer Animation, Virtual Humans and Artificial Life, Graphic Interaction, Graphic Hardware and Parallelism, Graphic Standards, Serious Games, Computer Graphics apps, and Computer Graphics and Education.
