The Basque Government defines the i-tourgune programme for boostering the innovation in the tourism sector

The Industry, Trade and Tourism Department of the Basque Country has presented its innovation plan i-tourgune for the tourism sector during a Workshop in the Kutxaespacio. The plan will be materialized by the creation of a new Cooperative Research Centre for the scientific and technological research in the tourism area. The strategy will also include the research project e-tourgune, led by Tecnalia and the University of Deusto, in which take part several research centres including Vicomtech-IK4.
