The LAGUN_ESQUIZOFRENIA project arises from the need to care for and accompany schizophrenia patients so that they can make hospital treatment and improvement compatible with visits and leave at home. The use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and artificial intelligence-based solutions makes decentralised hospital monitoring possible. In this sense, the general objective of the project is the development of a platform called LAGUN_ESQUIZOFRENIA that will allow professionals to monitor behavioural patterns and implement solutions for the early detection of decompensation through the use of easy-to-use wearable devices. 

In this way, LAGUN_ESQUIZOFRENIA will:

* Promote a more flexible dynamic in which care at home increasingly resembles care in hospital institutions. 

* To encourage continuous and remote monitoring and information for clinical professionals.

* Contribute to the early detection and reduction of risks of relapse, which will result in greater cohesion of the entire care ecosystem (family members, institutions and professionals in the sector).
