Researcher in Speech Technologies

We are looking for a person to join any of our offices (Donostia - San Sebastia/Bilbao), with experience in speech processing technologies who is also motivated by the transfer of these technologies to companies and institutions through advanced prototypes oriented to solve real needs. The selected person will be part of the Speech and Natural Language Technologies Department, participating in advanced research projects, assuming project management responsibilities and/or leading high-profile projects at a technical level, depending on the experience.
Candidates must have:
- Master/Doctorate degree (or equivalent) in Speech Technologies or related field.
- Good level of spoken and written Spanish and English
- Good programming skills (Python, C/C++, Go, Bash, Perl).
We value candidates:
- Signal processing.
- Specific tools and libraries for speech processing (Kaldi, DeepSpeech, QuartzNet, Wav2vec, Wav2letter) and deep machine learning (Pytorch, Tensorflow).
- Multimedia content processing and associated tools (FFmpeg, Gstreamer, Pyaudio).
- Docker virtualization technologies and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience in industrial and/or European research projects.
