Vicomtech-IK4 takes part at ITS World Congress in Bordeaux from 5th to 9th of October

Vicomtech-IK4 takes part at the ITS World Congress with a booth and 4 scientific presentations. The ITS World Congress is an annual international conference focused on Intelligent Transport Systems. Each year, the World Congress is hosted in one of three regions; Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas. This year it is taking place in Bordeaux from 5^th to 9^th of October and it brings together 10,000 international stakeholders from the ITS industry. They are ITS experts, professionals, public and private sector leaders, academics, researchers, engineers and students.

Vicomtech-IK4 is taking part at the congress with a booth where several real time demonstrations will be done, including a simulator and 3 scientific papers’ presentations with the following titles: "Embedded platforms for computer vision-based advanced driver assistance systems: a survey", "Semi-automatic tracking-based labeling tool for automotive applications" and "Robust real-time driver drowsiness detection system for heterogeneous lightining conditions" by Dr. Marcos Nieto and another presentation by Seán Gaines, Director of International Projects in Vicomtech-IK4, in the workshop organised by Big Data Europe "BigDataEurope Workshop on Smart, Green and Integrated Transport" focused on the management of the data generated by the vehicle sensors.
