The project will make intensive use of the available Big Data and AI tools with a double objective; on the one hand, to generate knowledge to influence the socioeconomic ecosystem of Gipuzkoa and the quality of future employment and, on the other, to develop learning processes and personalized strategies aimed at better training for Vocational Training students. However, it is intended to stimulate cooperation between companies and Vocational Training centers
The research team's mission is to identify, through the collection and analysis of data from Vocational Training centers, the learning needs from which, in collaboration with instructors from centers and companies, contexts of learning can be developed. personalized learning and identify good practices. Through the model, data related to, for example, methodology, motivation, transversal skills, practices, etc. are collected, classified and processed.
Vicomtech's role has been to carry out an advanced analysis of the data based above all on statistics, visual analytics and artificial intelligence, with the aim of extracting valid knowledge from them. The main objective of the project has been to collect data to prepare a comparison of opinions between students, tutors and instructors regarding the ETHAZI model. For this, a series of questionnaires have been analyzed that have been completed throughout the course by Vocational Training students, company instructors and tutors in order to analyze their perception of the model. Together with this comparison, the evolution of perception throughout the year has also been analysed. This analysis has made it possible to identify learning needs among students, tutors and instructors, analyze comparisons of opinions between them and help design good practices.
The LanHezi project has the support of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council and is led by the Science, Technology and Health (ZiTeO) research group of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. In addition, Saiolan, Vicomtech and the Fagor Group participate in it
