Digital-Modelled intelligent powertrain for connected electric bus

Irizar Group leads this project whose ambitious objective is to accelerate the digital transformation of electromobility solutions so that the Basque Country remains an international benchmark in the bus manufacturing sector. For this, the project is based on two pillars, the first focused on the generation and improvement of the vehicle itself and another focused on the digital transformation of this industry. This second pillar includes the development of digital twins, V2X communication, the creation of new services, the inclusion of augmented reality and the securing of devices and communications.

Vicomtech's participation is included in the security work in which we participate together with ITS-security. Specifically, our job is to apply artificial intelligence and visual analytics to detect and classify behavior patterns as normal, anomalous or dangerous; as well as to support the interactive visualization of them. In this way, new specialized detection tools will be created and deployed for the specific functioning of the sector and human experts will be assisted in making data-based decisions to manage threats.
