AISEJAN

The AISE JAN Project focuses on the implementation of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for the design and optimization of a home catering offer, personalized and adapted to the nutritional needs of older people. This project seeks to innovate in the field of nutrition for this demographic group, recognizing that adequate nutrition is crucial for their health, well-being and quality of life. In this way, AUSOLAN (project leader) designs a home catering system, configuring a catering offer adjusted to the needs of older people.

The AISE JAN initiative uses AI algorithms to analyze and understand the individual needs of each elderly person, considering factors such as their health conditions, food preferences, dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements. Through this technology, personalized meal plans can be created that not only meet nutritional recommendations, but also adjust to the tastes and eating habits of users.

The main objective of the project is to improve the nutrition of older people living in their own homes. It is based on the premise that an adequate diet can prevent diseases, strengthen the immune system and improve the general state of health. Furthermore, a well-planned and balanced diet can have a positive impact on emotional well-being and quality of life, providing older people with greater energy, better mood and greater autonomy.

AISE JAN also seeks to encourage the independence of older people, allowing them to stay in their homes as long as possible without compromising their nutritional health. Through tailored meal delivery, they are provided with a practical and convenient solution that eliminates the need to prepare complex meals, something that can be a challenge for many at this stage of life.

The project is coordinated by AUZO LAGUN S.Coop and has the collaboration of MAGNET S.Coop. Vicomtech contributes its knowledge as a technological center, as well as experience in the development of Artificial Intelligence models. These models will be created from the data provided by AUZO LAGUN S.Coop, which will be responsible for collecting and managing the necessary nutritional information and preparing the home catering offer.
